Hi! I’m Dani. I grew up on a farm wearing rain boots. Fast forward to 2014, while working a corporate job, I couldn’t find comfy, stylish, all-weather boots. That inspired me to create Merry People. I hope our boots bring comfort and a little extra joy to your everyday adventures!

Womens and Mens Sizing Recommendations

We recommend the inner sole of the Tully Boot to be around the same length as your foot. The neoprene lining around your foot will soften over time.

Tully boots run true to size. We suggest you go with your standard shoe size (don't order bigger for socks.) If you wear thick socks, then measure your foot wearing the thicker socks. Send us an email if you are unsure about sizing.

The boots should be slightly snug to start as the natural rubber will soften with wear. The insole is removable which can add about half a size when removed, or you can add your own footbed or orthotic.

How do I measure my foot length?

Stand with your weight evenly distributed across both feet. Place a ruler or measuring tape against a wall and measure from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe (this isn't always your big toe). Measure both feet and use the longer measurement when choosing your size. If you wear thick socks, measure with the socks on.

Which insole should I measure?

Use the inner sole length column in the measurement chart above. We recommend the inner sole of the Tully Boot to be around the same length as your foot. Tully inner soles run from 23 cm (EU 36) to 30.9 cm (EU 45).

What do I do if I'm a half size? Are these true to size?

Tully boots run true to size. If you're a half size, don't guess based on your usual shoe size. Measure your foot and use the inner sole length column in the measurement chart above. We suggest you go with your standard shoe size and don't order bigger just for socks. If you wear thick socks, measure your foot wearing the thicker socks.

Where should I measure to get an accurate measurement of the width?

Measure across the widest part of your foot (around the ball of the foot or bunion joints), then compare to the inner sole width on the size chart.

If I'm a half size am I better to go up or down a size?

Neither by default. Measure your foot first. The right size is the one where the inner sole is around the same length as your foot. The boots should be slightly snug to start as the natural rubber will soften with wear. The insole is removable which can add about half a size when removed, or you can add your own footbed or orthotic.

What size should I go for if I have one foot bigger than the other?

Go with the size that fits your larger foot. If the difference is significant, you can remove the inner sole on the larger side for up to half a size extra room, or add an orthotic to the smaller side for a snugger fit.

shockingly comfy!!
I will admit I was skeptical about the actual comfort factor on these and had some spare insoles ready to go, but I walked 3km in them and several other km's other days and not one blister!! They're so cute and comfy and were perfect for my very soggy trip to Tassie. Much more comfort than my Bobbi boots by comparison for me personally, the heel, nice insole and squishy bottom have a lot of support. Thanks for making a product that is actually cute AND comfy.

Love these bad boys!
I get so many compliments about these amazing boots! I found them a little hard to break in at first because they slipped and I found them really heavy to wear, but I fixed that by adding a lambs-wool insole and my legs got used to them over time. I wear them even when it's not raining, but when it is, my feet always stay warm and dry. Especially good for my kid's soccer days and trudging through grass and mud! Very smug to see people in their trainers and wet feet, while I'm cosy and snug. Thanks Merrys!

Top 5 most comfortable!
I work on my feet for over 10 hours a day and these boots are now in my top 5, straight out of the box, no wear in time. Their sizing chart is great as it gives the actual footbed measurements so I was able to pick my size confidently. I love the little platform, it gives a little bit more support and comfort. Plus the colour is the best, it doesn’t show any dirt even after running around a muddy field. I’m obsessed with them and can’t believe I lived this long without them. Our whole world team got them and now live in them

Comfy & cute, but size down!
These boots are exactly what I needed! Perfect for adventures, gardening, or just when I want a pop of pink. The initial size I ordered based on the measurements and the quiz were way too big, but it was super easy to exchange them for a size down which fits perfectly. Wore them to Staglands in the weekend and they were amazing!
