But not at Merry People.
Despite retail pressure since starting Merry People just over ten years ago, we still never go on sale. Here's why this is so important to us – and what it means for you:
Lowest Prices, All Year:
Our commitment to you? The lowest possible price all year round.
While many retail brands price their products with the intention of marking them down at some stage in the season, we stick to consistency. That means we design, create and price our product to their true value – without adding on a margin for sale.
No Discounts, No Sales FOMO:
We know it can be frustrating to buy something at full price, then see it on sale a few days or weeks later.
We never want our community to feel pressured into a purchase or tricked by sales and discounts, so we keep prices consistent, giving you confidence in what you buy – and when you buy it – without a discount or sale around the corner to trip you up.
We Order to Sell Out:
Because we aim to avoid over-producing stock just to put it on sale later, we only produce amounts we’re confident will sell through - no more, no less.
Although this means styles and colors may run out of stock quickly, it also means we can continue focusing on creating fresh colors and new styles rather than having excess stock gathering dust in the warehouse, or needing to be cleared in a flash sale!
